The Blue Shard is a hostile creature in Dungeon Siege.

Description

This is a Shard-type creature of medium size and strength encountered in the crystal cave environments. It is stronger than the Teal, sturdier but not as damaging as the Green, and inferior to the Purple.

Its spell, shard_zap_blue, is a blue homing-projectile attack similar to that of the other shards.

This is an enemy affected by the Legends of Aranna Damage Bug. The Blue Shard was not assigned skill ranks appropriate for its attacks in vanilla. The revision to armor rating in the expansion renders unskilled attacks harmless.
