Body Armor List (Dungeon Siege)

The chest equipment slot in Dungeon Siege bestows the greatest share of a character's protection and the potential for the strongest magical mods, considering the defense and power ratings of Body Armor.

The selection rate for body armor under an #armor pcontent call is 30 percent, which means that between Body Armor, Gloves, Boots, and Helms, body armor has the highest chance of appearing. Evidently even monsters recognize the value of good armor, so they are more likely to wear it and stash extras in nearby containers.

Legends of Aranna

The Legends of Aranna expansion added new lines of heavy-duty archer and spellcaster armor to balanced higher-leveled members of these professions against melee fighters, who had access to far superior gear in the original release. Sadly, they replaced a large amount of fighter equipment from the original release.
