Like the Fettershins, Bound Naldruns are twice corrupted, first by the dark magic of the Vai’kesh, then by the cruel attentions of the Familiars. Their hands, feet, and faces were taken for the magical power within them, and a crude cannon fueled by their very souls was attached to their arms. Now they pitifully fly through the forest, seeking victims they can blast with their own life force until the peace of death releases them from their suffering.
