Celeb'hel the Elder

Celeb'hel the Elder is a side quest in Dungeon Siege II: Broken World that begins at the end of the primary quest In Search of Celia. When you defeat Celeb'hel the Elder, he drops Celeb'hel's Soulstone (Quest Item 22), which starts this quest.

Walkthrough[]

Later, in Calennor Wood (#3), you’ll meet Celeb’hel again. He’ll reveal that he divided his soul into four parts and sent simulacra across the world in search of knowledge regarding a powerful elven spell. He tasks you with retrieving the final two simulacra so he can perform this spell.

Simulacra Locations[]

Simulacrum #1: Found in the **Small Vai'kesh Sanctuary** in the Western Vai'kesh Forest (#6). You must be on the The Vai'kesh (Part 2) side quest to access this area. The simulacrum is in a cell near Argir the Vai'kesh Prophet.

Simulacrum #2: Found in the Calennor Stronghold (#5), which you’ll pass through during the The Second Familiar Surgeon story quest. The corpse lies in the central section of the dungeon.

Retrieving each simulacrum will give you:

Celeb'hel's Second Soulstone (Quest Item 44)
Celeb'hel's Third Soulstone (Quest Item 45)

Return to Celeb’hel afterward. An **Ancestor of the Azunites** will appear and warn against casting the dangerous spell.

Decision Point[]

Give Celeb'hel the Soulstones:

 * He attempts the spell, fails spectacularly, and explodes.
 * You receive **Celeb'hel's Ceremonial Garb** as loot.

Refuse to give Celeb'hel the Soulstones:

 * He has a moment of clarity and offers to join your party.
 * You can take **Celeb'hel’s Ceremonial Garb** from his companion inventory.

Note: In some versions of the game, Celeb’hel may be scripted to attack if refused, though this rarely occurs.

Return to Celeb’hel and make your decision
