Colonel Norick is a hostile NPC in Dungeon Siege.
Description[]
This an easter egg NPC, a sort of nightmarish ascended version of Norick, the old farmer who dies in the opening sequence of the Ehb campaign. "Colonel Norick" resides at the terminus of the Utraean Peninsula's Chicken Level, and is the de facto boss of the Chickens gathered there.
Combat[]
This foe has the highest health, armor, and hand-to-hand rating of all enemies in the game by a wide margin. Entering his melee threat radius will result in death in moments, unless the player has extraordinary backup.
However, it is possible to defeat him with any ranged or magic character on account of his limitation to hand-to-hand fighting and his glacial walking speed. The man is incredibly slow. As the player must kite around to avoid letting him close in, and chew through his mountainous health bar, the battle promises to be tedious.
