Confront the Snow Queen is a main quest in Chapter 1 of Yesterhaven.
Quest Overview[]
After rescuing Guard Captain Kellan and his men in the previous quest, The Lost Detachment, Kellan informs you that the Snow Queen, who resides in her towers, is responsible for the unnatural blizzards and attacks on Yesterhaven. He tasks you with confronting her to end the threat.
Objectives[]
- Navigate through the icy terrain of Snow Queen's Towers. - Overcome various cold-themed enemies such as Ice Elementals and the Snow Queen's minions. - Confront and defeat the Snow Queen to stop the blizzards. - Return to Yesterhaven and report back to Guard Captain Kellan.
Walkthrough[]
Upon accepting the quest from Guard Captain Kellan, head towards the Snow Queen's Towers. The path is treacherous, with heavy snowfall reducing visibility. Along the way, you'll encounter packs of wolves and ice elementals. Keep an eye out for signs of the missing soldiers, including discarded weapons and personal items.
As you ascend the mountain, you'll find an ice cave where Captain Kellan and his men are held captive by ice elementals. Defeat the elementals to free the soldiers. Captain Kellan will inform you that the source of the blizzard lies deeper within the mountain, setting up the next quest.
Return to Yesterhaven and report your success to Mayor Gilwin to complete the quest.
