Dark Casters inhabit western Aranna's crystalline caves in colonies with Dark Lungers and Dark Slingers. They employ an instantaneous-hit spell, dark_lunger_zap, which is based on the Nature entry-spell Zap.
| This an enemy affected by the Legends of Aranna Damage Bug. The Dark Caster was not assigned skill ranks appropriate for its attacks in vanilla. The revision to armor rating in the expansion renders unskilled attacks harmless. |
