The Dark Wolf is a Black Wolf miniboss in Dungeon Siege.
Description[]
The Dark Wolf is a guardian spirit of black wolves, the extra-large and ferocious wolf breed inhabiting the deep forests.
The creature's hide hangs rather loosely in places; the sinew of its legs and ribs are exposed, its fleshless skull is fully-exposed as well, and its eye sockets glow red. While the Dark Wolf is clearly not of the living, it leads its descendants on hunts through the forests of the Utraean Peninsula.

The Dark Wolf is found in the middle of Redwood Gap. Black wolves are not the hardest fights in the region, but the Dark Wolf's pack is a large and dangerous encounter.
There is no analogous creature in the Ehb campaign.
