A Droog Grunt is a hostile, melee-class Droog in Dungeon Siege.
Combat[]
These foot-soldiers are, with their Mage and Archer comrades, the strongest foes encountered in the bush and mesa desert-type regions. The grunt has a high health rating, a high armor rating, and a high-quality Droog Sword that deals traumatic damage. Packs of Droog can erupt out of the sand without warning. Their weakness is their plodding speed. Ranged- and magic-using characters do not have to stand anywhere near the grunts, if they don't want to.
Fanatic[]
Within the Droog Village of the Cliffs of Fire there exists a Droog Fanatic Grunt. Despite the different label, the stats are the same as the normal warrior.
