Dungeon Siege II: Broken World is an addition to the computer game Dungeon Siege II. To start, you must have the original game.

Plot[]

Аct I[]

A year passes, and the protagonist comes to the outpost of the surviving dryads settled on the mainland, guided by the search for the escaped Superman. There he meets old friends and again gathers a detachment on a campaign, continuing to follow the trail of the dark magician.

Using Canred’s staff, the heroes open a passage into the wasteland of Kelvaran, where after a long journey they stumble upon the Superman. From a conversation with him, it becomes clear that the magician wants to return his race of qingbri to Aranna, and the city of Aman'Lu has already been destroyed. After the dark magician escapes, leaving a couple of his henchmen.

After the words of the wizard, the main character tries to find the way to Aman'Lu. The path to it is blocked, and the key is located at the overseer Celia, who tracks down another "spoiled" magician. It turns out to be the elder of the city of Celeb'Hel, who soon finds and destroys a detachment of heroes. Celia appears immediately, along with the patrol of the dryads, who begin to collect the magical energy of the fallen elder. She does not want to reveal the motive for the actions of her subordinates, but allows the group to go to Aman'Lu.

Аct II[]

Arriving in his native city, the hero finds only its ruins, in which twisted creatures roam. Surviving residents are forced to defend themselves against attacks by returning old enemies - Familiars. Deep in the forests of Vai'Lutra, the heroes seek out and destroy their representatives - the surgeons who are behind the creation of terrible monsters from living creatures. In one of the underground strongholds, the group finds out that the dryads helped to collect magical energy for the Families, whose return, by the way, is the Super Wizard.

Upon returning to Aman'Lu, the hero is transferred to Solanum, the new city of the dryads. There he sees how, under the leadership of the Great Leader, the dryads enter a strange portal. The leader dispels the illusion and becomes the Super Wizard, summoning a strong Familiar to delay the squad and escape again. Heroes destroy the enemy and go to the portal in the wake of the magician.

Аct III[]

Using the portal, the heroes are transported to the Enclave Gloridip - a place underground, where a colony of gnome miners lives enslaved by the Super Wizard more than a hundred years ago. All this time they were excavating the ancient city of Zinbri, however, when they saw the detachment of the protagonist, they hoped for release. Heroes helped the dwarves to destroy the guards, and in return they opened the way to the underground city.

In its depths, the heroes find the main dark magician, who is surrounded by dryads. He uses their life energy and turns into the Zaramota of the Reborn. After an exhausting battle, the heroes defeat him, thereby forever closing his connection with the world of qingbri.
