Enchanter Lumilla
- For other uses, see Reagents (Dungeon Siege II) and Recipes (Dungeon Siege II).
Enchanting is the process of creating magic items using Reagents in the game Dungeon Siege II.
Broken World adds recipes - certain combinations of reagents that allow you to create unique items and items from Sets.
When creating an item using a recipe, you can use the base item listed in the recipe, or you can use a better version. For example, if the recipe asks for a great fighter helm, you can use an exceptional or legendary fighter helm instead.
The Blood Assassin and Fist of Stone classes are actually multi-classes. They can use their own powers and skills, and they can also use the powers and skills of their two core classes. To assign experience to these multi-classes, you should use weapon enchantments. Weapon enchantments are special buffing spells that assign experience to the core classes using a 70/30 split.
Usage[]
Only special NPC enchanters, which are located in all cities, can enchant things.
To use their services, you need to have:
- Item that can be enchanted. Under such a thing, its quality is usually written - the higher it is, the more cells for reagents it contains:
- Any reagent.
- Gold.
Formula for calculating the price of enchantment[]
There are 2 formulas for calculating the price:
- First - if the number of reagents is 4 or less.
2 * [(level of enchanted item) + 2.5] * [0.6 * (sum of the levels of all reagents) + 1.0]
- The second - if the number of reagents is more than 4.
2 * [(level of enchanted item) + 2.5] * [0.6 * (sum of the levels of all reagents) + 1.0] * [1.0 + 0.75 * ((number of reagents) - 4.0)]
Example: The cost of enchanting a level 46 legendary ring with 8 Prismatic trinkets (+15 chance to find a magician item):
2 * [46 + 2.5] * [0.6 * (41 * 8) + 1] * [1 + 0.75 * (8 - 4)] = 2 * 48.5 * 197.8 * 4 = 76746
That is ~ 77,000 gold for a 120% chance of finding magic items.
Notes[]
- Usually, items created by enchantment are used as a substitute for magical ones due to the choice of enchantment effects and lose their relevance after finding rare or unique items. However, legendary quality items enchanted with one type of reagent can enhance certain characteristics well. For example, a ring / amulet with a 120% chance of dropping magic items, or a shield with a 40% chance to block a melee attack.
