Etienne Du Marnay[]
Etienne Du Marnay is a legionnaire, though he is dead by the time the player finds him. His body maybe found in the Hall of Illumination, right before the statue of a winged lion, Lamasu. Etienne’s armor is still on his skeletal remains.
Known Past (Later Life)[]
Etienne is the father of Sister Eleanor, and he was an enemy of the undead, who sprang up in the Aranoi Desert. Du Marnay heard of St. Hiram’s death, and quickly set out to avenge the loss of such a saint. He encountered High Priest Molochi, a heretic, and a leader of a false faith of his own creation. Molochi and his undead heavily wounded him, but he still found strength to get to Hall of Illumination. Etienne spoke to Lamasu, and asked him to save his daughter, Eleanor. Lamasu agreed and repelled a horde of Lescanzi sent by Jeyne Kassynder, who had somehow found out of Sister Eleanor’s 10th Legion blood. But Etienne was long dead when this happened.
