Factions are organizations of people with a common goal in Broken World. The player can encounter and interact with several of these factions throughout the game. Each faction has a specific headquarters or area of influence that remains static for the entire storyline. Each faction has notable leaders and members that play roles in the game's storyline.
Comparisons with other games[]
Unlike many other RPG's, interactions with the friendly factions only serve to move the plot forward and hostile factions serve as enemies for the players to fight. There is no deep lore-based interaction with either type of faction.
