Frostspire Mountain is a set of regions in The Kingdom of Ehb, the singleplayer campaign in Dungeon Siege.
Description[]
According to the Fedwyrr's Way lorebooks [1] [2] [3], Frostspire Mountain is a grand snow-capped peak rising from the Green Range in northern Ehb. This mountain's name happens to be the only proper label available for a chain of snowy regions that otherwise go unnamed in the Ehb campaign (except Glacern, the town).
After exiting Glitterdelve Mine, the Farmgirl and her party did not summit Frostspire. Rather, they passed through the snow forest corridor and Glacern on the mountain's slope, and then they entered the Alpine Caverns beneath it. Listed in the order they are seen, the "Frostspire Mountain" areas are specifically:
- path2nt (path to northern town) - The snow forest path running between Glitterdelve Mine and Glacern;
- fc_r1 (furok cave) - An ice cave bordering this path;
- nt_r1 (northern town) - The town of Glacern;
- nt_r1a (northern town a) - A hidden cellar and rock cavern under one of Glacern's houses;
- path2ac (path to alpine cavern) - The snow forest road running between Glacern and the Alpine Caverns;
- id_r1 (ice dungeon 1) - A cellar beneath Orlov's House, north of Glacern along this road, that uses the ice dungeon tileset;
- id_r2 (ice dungeon 2) - A nameless dungeon also found along the roadside;
- ac_r1 (arctic caverns 1) - Still outside the Alpine Caverns, the end of the snow forest road;
- ac_r1a (arctic caverns 1a) - A hidden glen east of the road, leading to a mined-out cave.

Aside from a pack of Scorpions found in a cave, the snow forests are populated with entirely different wildlife than the farmlands and mines, with the mob creatures in particular being much hardier.

Dungeon Siege III[]
Frostspire Mountain serves as a battlefield between the royalists loyal to Queen Roslyn, and the Azunite forces of Jeyne Kassynder. Ibsen Yamas IV dwells in a cavern on the mountain, behind a completely unfrozen waterfall. Outlets for Glitterdelve Mine's Stonestream can be found around the area. The Spire, the impregnable fortress of Jeyne, is constructed atop the holy Mt. Jhereb, near the Frostspire Mountain. When the Legion-Royalist forces gained advantage, the heroes inflitrated the fortress, succesfully placing Jeyne into an unbearable locus standi.
