Grand Magus Orrin was the father of the future Hero of Arhok. He, along with his wife Arch Wardess Feliene left on an expedition to the Island of the Utraeans twenty years before the events of Legends of Aranna. The last thing he left his child with was a handwritten note about how dangerous their expedition would likely be and that he regretted not being able to watch his child grow up in Arhok.
As a Grand Magus, Orrin was skilled in both Combat Magic and Nature Magic.
Very little is known about Orrin, as all knowledge of the expedition is written in the journal of his wife, Feliene. During the expedition, Orrin managed to translate an old Utraean book "Care and Maintenance for your Zaurask", which caused the party concern as the Utraeans had always insisted that the Zaurask were native to the island.[1]
Alongside his wife, Orrin fought his way through the Zaurask hordes into Fortress Emarard's courtyard to face the Lizard King Nossirom head on. Unfortunately he was felled by Nossiroms Mace in a single blow. Orrin was interred within Fortress Emarard by the Utraeans in honor of his fight against the Zaurask.[2]
