Grescal Townstone is a secondary quest on the Utraean Peninsula, the multiplayer world in Dungeon Siege.
Description[]
Those Marked with Fire find the town of Grescal worrying over the extinction of the oasis. Utraean Priestess Kylira informs the heroes that the Palm Stone was stolen and likely to be in the Abandoned Ruins, and she is moreover convinced that the reunification of the Townstones will help to resolve the water crisis. The ruins are nearby; simply follow the torches out beyond her tent.
Within the ruins are the same classes of high-level monsters seen accompanying the Seck in the Ehb campaign. The material rewards are excellent. There are four treasure chests similar to those found in the Chamber of Stars.

Dialogue[]
- "If this drought keeps up, there will not be much here other than dust and blowing sand. That's why we must succeed in assembling the Circle in Hiroth. I have dreamt of a vast reservoir of water hidden beneath the land. I am certain the Utraeans stockpiled it just for times like these. When the Circle is complete, we will finally be able to use it, and the town of Grescal will be saved."
- "The Grescal Palm Stone was stolen from us a few nights back. I fear there is something living in the ruined Utraean temple northeast of town. We found the Stone Guardian with his throat slashed and the Townstone gone from its resting place. I have heard tales of your bravery -- I am certain you are the one who can find our Stone and carry it safely to Hiroth. Please do not fail us now!"
- "It is usually very quiet around here. But strange noises have been heard coming from the ruined Utraean temple to the northeast, so I suggest you start there."
- "You have the Palm Stone! The Gods favor you, my child. I am glad we will no longer fear for our safety with the ruined temple so close. I was certain our fate would be sealed, even if we did have enough water to spare. I give you my heartfelt thanks. Please accept this small trifle as thanks for a task well done. Grescal's citizens will be praying for you on your journey to Hiroth."
