Konus is a partymember in Legends of Aranna.

Dwarf Warmage

Konus is a Dwarf undead hunter and the eighth companion encountered. He can be found in the entry chamber at the bottom of the stairs leading into the Mountain of the Dead.

Konus started his career alternating one level in Melee followed by two levels in Combat magic. Perhaps with his heart set on obtaining Zorkon's Bonecrusher, he has recently been focused entirely on the latter.

Biography

Konus is the "sworn enemy to anything that creeps or crawls from its hallowed resting place." When he heard of the foul undead creature known as 'Cicatrix', the warmage ventured to the Island of the Utraeans, to eradicate this 'Lord of the Dead' and his minions. He made his way to the Mountain of the Dead, deep within the Fen of the Frozen, and infiltrated Cicatrix's lair.

It was there that Konus met the Hero of Arhok and their band. He yelled at them to quiet down, lest the whole dungeon be alerted to their presence. He offered his services to their quest in return for aid completing his own: the utter destruction of Cicatrix.

Konus and the party slew Cicatrix, looted his treasure hoard, and then continued on through the mountain to the ancient Utraean capital of Jherkal's Crown, in order to stop the vengeful Shadowjumper.

Trivia

• Konus is the only Dwarf companion in Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna.
• It's possible for one of his many random combat spell rolls to be Summon Skeleton. The wildcard item (power 30-45) could be a junk weapon or armor piece, or relatively better jewelry.
