The Mt. Elspen Forest is located in the northern reaches of the Utraean Peninsula, the multiplayer world in Dungeon Siege.
Description[]
Mt. Elspen Forest has roads leading to Dornek's Stone Quarry and onward to Lang through the Sulfur Tunnels; the Mount Utrae Temple to Fallraen; and the Crystal Caverns to Meren.
Normally, players are coming from Fallraen and emerge into the region from the temple exit. They head south in the direction of Meren; this puts them promptly in the crystal caverns without seeing much at all of Mt. Elspen. Heading north instead is a very long trek through the dense, snowy wilds to the quarry.

Details[]
This is a much tighter, denser forest than the Fallraen Forest, with precious little passable terrain. Enemies are relatively sparse throughout, with a few packs of White Wolves, Klaws, and Braak Mages lurking in the woods.
The recently-displaced quarry foreman (turned-merchant), Dornek Firehammer, and his tracker stand near the Mt. Elspen entrance to the Mount Utrae Temple. The exit is covered by a stone dome, similar to those leading to Hovart's Folly.
If one heads north, they will emerge from the forest into the quarry carved out by Dornek's workers. Enemies have a larger presence here, and it leads into the Sulfur Tunnels. The path to the Crystal Caverns to the east is rather simple; just move straight ahead and enter the cave.
This region can be considered a blown-up version of its Ehb counterpart, the snowfields surrounding Jeriah's cabin.
