Rukkenvahl is a major region of Ehb located to the east of the Green Range. The whole region is valley, known for its forests and beautiful landscapes. It is home for many species, and deep in the valley hides the forest of Mournweald. The Piligrim's Road, a trade route and the Valley's connection to the Gloamwood Bog, helps the local population to transport goods to Stonebridge and attracts piligrims, who come to see and witness the glory of the 10th Legion's past, which is on display in the magnificent Heroes' Crypt. The 10th Legion has a chapterhouse in the Valley, known as the Rukkenvahl Chapterhouse.
Battlefield[]
Rukkenvahl served as a battlefield in 1264, when 10th Legionnaires under the guidance of Hugh Montbarron gathered to defeat Jeyne in a final battle that would decide the fate of Ehb. That battle was won by Jeyne, but at the cost of corrupting the Mournweald.
Cities[]
Raven's Rill, a city constructed near the Valley's only known safe source of water, is located to in the southern parts of the Rukkenvahl Valley.
Events of 1264-1294 (early 1294)[]
Jeyne Kassynder summoned a corrupted Creator God in 1264, corrupting the forest of Mournweald to an unrevivable state. Later, the Rukkenvahl Valley was overrun by spiders, welcoming Ehb's largest spider in one of its caverns, Palefang. Villagers started to abandon homes close to East Forest. Lescanzi raided both Upper and Lower Raven's Rill.
Events of late 1294[]
The people of Lower Raven's Rill began to return to their abandoned homes. They rebuilt the town and with the influx of piligrims could gather supplies to survive the winter.
Trivia[]
The name of the Valley comes from an old Virsk word that means "a valley of ravens".
