The Rune Guardian is the largest of the rune monsters associated with the Rune Casters found in Demlock's Ravine, and is the one summoned by the Rune Master himself. Depending on playthrough difficulty, he wields different power tiers of the lightning-attuned Scythe of Angk.

Trivia

He is the only one of the rune monsters to wear a loincloth, suggesting that he is more, uhh... gifted... than the rest of them.
