St. Hiram[]
St. Hiram is a saint worshipped in Azunai Church. He lived in the times when the Imperial Colony of Ehb was just freed of the crumbling empire.
‘He was a portly fellow, renowned for his miracles, which had a distinctly culinary flair.’ – as the lore describes him. He was remembered for the strong, everlasting perseverance against the false cult of Molochi.
Duty[]
St. Hiram was a monk of the Azunite Church, the abbey where he studied and learned religion, fully dedicating himself to Azunai. When the holy Synod grew aware of a community in the northern part of the Aranoi Desert, which fell to a cult of a false god, the Synod summoned Hiram, and he was chosen to be the envoy to stop the cult.
Mission[]
When Hiram found his way to the north of the desert, he was captured and imprisoned by Molochi and his flock. No matter how hard Molochi’s patrons tried, they could not convert him to their cult. Hiram had shown true perseverance, though he died that year of unspeakable tortures, including his hand being torn apart from the body.
