The Elen'lu Isles

The Elen'lu Isles is the third story quest in Act II of Dungeon Siege II, beginning after you complete Finala and the Broken Bridge.

Walkthrough[]

Arriving at the Isles[]

To reach the Elen'lu Isles, travel north from where you last spoke with Finala, passing through the Northern Vai'lutra Forest. You'll eventually reach the Elen'lu Isles and unlock the Elen'lu Isles teleporter for future fast travel.

Puzzle Objectives[]

This quest is a puzzle-style challenge. You'll need to:

Defeat 4 elite Taclak enemies to acquire Small Prism Refractor Crystals (#1)
Insert the crystals into 4 Beam Focusing Devices (#2)
Rotate each device so it shines toward the center Prism of the Elves (#4)
Collect the Large Prism Refractor Crystal (#3)
Insert it into the prism pyramid and activate it (#5)

Note: Once a beam device is properly aligned, it becomes locked and can't be turned again.

Also, activate bridges as you go by clicking the top archways. If no activation option appears, you'll need to circle around to the opposite side of the bridge to unlock it from there.

Completing the Puzzle[]

After correctly aligning all four beam devices and inserting the large crystal into the prism, a cutscene will play. A wave of enemies will attack you — defeat them to finish the task.

Return to Aman'lu and speak to Finala at the southern bridge (#14), which is now repaired. Finala will complete the quest and offer to join your party as a Combat Mage companion.

Insert them into beam devices and aim them at the Prism of the Elves
Acquire the Large Prism Crystal
Activate the central Prism of the Elves
Return to Finala in Aman'lu

Notes[]

The beam puzzle is straightforward — once aimed correctly, devices lock into place.
Activating bridges is essential for full exploration and progression.
Finala becomes a valuable party member after this quest.
