Travel to Elddim is a secondary quest on the Utraean Peninsula, the multiplayer world in Dungeon Siege.

Description[]

This quest is a simple, self-explanatory task meant to direct wayward players to the starting point of the Peninsula's primary quest, The Utraean Circle.

The quest gets issued to those Marked with Fire whenever they encounter a priest of the Utraean Historical Society. They are told to visit Priestess Kelti in Elddim's Azunite Shrine of Passion. Kelti immediately follows this quest up with the quest to retrieve the Elddim Townstone. This quest is only initiated if the player has traveled to towns abroad without having yet obtained the Signet Ring of the Utraean Protectors from Kelti.

If obtained from Utraean High Priest Kavaren in Hiroth, and on condition that the player has a signet ring but is missing Elddim's townstone, the quest is relabeled Journey to Elddim. It is not otherwise any different in its objective or its (absence of) reward.

Dialogue[]

Priest Sarden, Priest Tas, Priestess Kylira
  • "You look like a resourceful sort of person. The Society might have need of one such as yourself, if you're in the mood. Interested?"
  • "[Crystwind/Meren/Grescal] has need of a brave adventurer, but how do I know you won't just rob us blind? I'm not so good at reading people, myself. If you travel to Elddim, speak with Utraean Priestess Kelti in the Shrine of Passion there. She is seeking one with a strong soul and daring heart, and she is much better equipped to deal with those who...don't quite fit the mold."
  • "If Priestess Kelti deems you trustworthy, I may have something for you later."
Apprentice Flessan
  • "Oh, hail, stranger. If you need magic stuff, talk to Killean. I've got too much to do now that Priest Lagreth's gone. I'm of mind to send out a search party for him."
  • "Well... You think you can help, do you? I don't know... How's this? Go talk to Utraean Priestess Kelti over in Elddim. She's always looking for trustworthy individuals to assist the Society. I might have a job for you when you're finished."
  • "Look, I'm not allowed to hire anyone without Priestess Kelti's approval. If she likes you, she'll let me know, and then we can talk. Okay?"
Priestess Janeira
  • "If I'm not mistaken, you carry the Mark of fire upon you. The Society might have need of one such as yourself, if you're able and willing, interested?"
  • "The Utraean Society is always looking for those with special abilities. If you travel to Elddim, speak with Utraean Priestess Kelti in the Shrine of Passion there."
  • "If Priestess Kelti deems you trustworthy, I may have something for you later."
Priest Ferdl
  • "Oh, it's you. Look, I don't have Orellean's silly little book, and I've never seen it either. You can tell that -- what? Oh, you're not one of his lackeys? What do you want, then?"
  • "Erm, I'm sorry, but Priestess Kelti of Elddim is the only one of the Society who hires strangers. Why don't you go talk to her."
High Priest Kavaren
  • "Greetings, stranger. If you are seeking work with the Utraean Society, I suggest you speak with High Priestess Kelti in Elddim."
  • "I'm afraid I don't have anything for you right now."
  • (Journey to Elddim) "The Utraean Circle is ready to be completed, but you are missing the Elddim Sunrise Stone. Speak with Utraean High Priestess Kelti in Elddim, then return here to me."
