The Utgards are an extinct race of giants that used to live in northeastern Aranna, where they fought against the Agallans. When Zaramoth was crowned Stellar Emperor, he had all other Utgards killed, since he viewed them as a threat to his rule. This made him the last Utgard, thus when he was vanquished on the Plain of Tears did the race go extinct.
